Counseling Department Information
The purpose of the Hallsville High School Counseling office is to help our students, parents, and families navigate through the exciting high school years. Our School Counselors are available to provide a variety of services, to include academic counseling, personal counseling, college and career planning, high school scheduling, test result interpretation, scholarship search help, and educational opportunities. We have two counselors to serve our student body. Each counselor works with all grade levels.
The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline is a national network of local crisis centers that provides free and confidential emotional support to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in the United States. This new shorter number, 988, will make it easier for people to remember and access mental health crisis services.

CRITICAL NEED/SHORTAGE OCCUPATIONS
Section 167.902 RSMo, requires that the department of economic development shall annually identify occupations in which a critical need or shortage of trained personnel exists in the labor markets in this state and provide such information to the state board of education.
