A+ PROGRAM
Hallsville High School graduates may be eligible for the A+ scholarship covering the cost of tuition and certain fees while attending any participating Missouri public community college, or post-secondary vocational or technical school as a full-time student. Students are eligible for up to two years during the 4-year period immediately following high school graduation. To be eligible, each student must have entered into a written agreement with Hallsville High School prior to graduation and have met the following requirements:

Have attended a designated A+ School for 3 consecutive years prior to high school graduation;

Graduated from high school with a GPA of 2.5 or higher (on a 4.0 scale);

Have at least 95% attendance for the four year period;

Performed 50 hours of unpaid tutoring or mentoring for other students;

Maintained a record of good citizenship and avoided the unlawful use of drugs / alcohol;

Made a documented good faith effort to score federal post-secondary student financial assistance funds;

Enrolled in and attended on a full-time basis, a Missouri public community college or postsecondary vocational or technical school, maintaining a GPA of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.

Score Advanced or Proficient on the Algebra I EOC or other approved math exams as determined by the Missouri Department of Higher Ed.
